Lokmat Times will organise the annual State-level Intercollegiate Debate Competition at Hotel VITS on September 15. This year it is going to be the 20th edition of the academic extravaganza. Every year, the collegiate students are eagerly waiting for the State-level debate competition organised by LT. Now, the wait is over for the students. The topic for this year's competition is 'Corruption is Unavoidable!'.

The competition will be in English. A team of two students will be allowed to participate from each college. Each speaker will be allowed to speak for three minutes. One participant of the team will speak in favour of the subject while the other will oppose the motion. Entries approved by the college principal will only be accepted while the last date of submitting entry will be September 10. Entry fees for each team will be Rs 300.

The entries will be accepted on 'first come first served' basis and only first 40 entries will be entertained. The entries can be sent at Lokmat Times, Lokmat Bhavan, Jalna Road, Aurangabad between 5 pm and 9 pm. The outstation colleges can fax their entries to 0240 - 24884130 and will have to pay their fees at the venue.
